Fritz Maritime Agencies
Fritz Maritime Agencies (FMA) represents Shipowner's in the Break-bulk industry from around the world. FMA was founded in 1968, by Mr. Ambrose Canonica while he was employed with Fritz Companies. FMA initially started the agency business representing a single line. Fritz Maritime Agencies worked closely with this principal in expanding their service, and this required FMA to open offices in the Pacific Northwest, Southern California and the U.S. Gulf.
During these years of expansion, FMA secured other clients based on recommendations and the service being offered. Since then FMA has handled principals throughout the world. Fritz Maritime handles all vessels through our local offices and utilizes sub-agents in ports where offices are not maintained.
In 1987 FMA was purchased by Mr. Gregory Canonica from Fritz Companies. Since FMA is privately owned, we have considerable pride in the service we offer. The company philosophy is to "
OFFER THE BEST SERVICE AVAILABLE TO ALL PRINCIPALS". We sincerely believe we have accomplished this and continue to strive to better the service wherever possible. In doing so we have been able to assist our principals in the quick despatch of their vessels, by working closely with the vessel's crew, stevedore companies and terminal operators.
